What doesn’t kill you makes stronger!
This piece has taken a LOT of time and care to get just right. It seems to have a mind of its own and looks different in different photos hence why I’ve included a few different ones. It is a solid wood antique corner unit with original glass and hardware that has been given the Doghead full works with Athenian Black, Oxford Navy and Old White...and a lot of elbow grease! The gold leaf is both inside and outside to add depth. I wanted to keep the glass but also create more intrigue as to what lies behind the glass; this has been achieved with paint and leaf so that the torn strip pattern is still visible but a tad more exciting that being in plain sight. For any Dirty Dancing fans, nobody puts baby in the corner!! This piece needs pride of place.
