'Earth's Abstract Symphony'
This vintage glass-fronted display cabinet has been handpainted. As always, I draw on many different influences in my work but the main focus for this one was the colours of the Earth from space, texture and pattern. There is also slight Indian influence too.
The piece has been painted inside and out and has three shelves inside. The key is original and works to lock the cabinet. It has been sealed with clear and white wax for durability and a soft and faded feel.
I have purposely chosen an imperfect feel to the design with wonky lines and a soft design in the shape work.
