This vintage cabinet has been hand printed using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and was featured on Annie Sloan’s Challenge where she invited 9 painters to create a piece using only 4 specific colours and a white of their choice. I wanted to create a Scandi/boho vibe with lots of texture and printing using found objects. Firstly I sanded the piece and created a whitewash with my chosen white: Pure. I then blended different variations of Florence, Primer Red, Giverny and Louis Blue with Pure to create a more complex palette of different shades. After that I just had fun with the design; I didn’t have a plan, I just went with the flow, mixing and printing based on instinct! I sealed it with Clear and White Wax.

Top drawer with cupboard underneath with one shelf to provide two storage compartments. Unpainted inside. This can be viewed at my studio. I offer free local delivery to Bristol and I can deliver slightly more further afield for a small fee. Alternatively, for more long distance trips I use an independent courier.
