This solid, Indian rosewood sideboard has been handpainted in a variety of Chalk Paint colours with texture and character. When you look up close, there are many layers and a great deal of depth to the piece. I have sealed it with white wax to give a soft and subtle finish, making the colours almost translucent in places. I was inspired by its Indian heritage in the paintwork.

The inside has been left unpainted. Please note this is a VERY heavy piece of furniture and would need two people to lift.

I have painted this one for my ‘RETHUNK’ collaboration with Changing Lives Charity, where it can be viewed, with some money going straight back into the charity.
