This vintage chest of drawers has been handprinted using a mix of blues and greens to create a soft and interesting finish with depth and character. The piece itself is hardwood and has dovetail joints and original brass hardware that has been polished and brought back to life.

This is a subtle yet dramatic statement all in one; put it up against a neutral wall and it would emanate a subtle beauty but if paired with a bright background, such as the one shown in my photos, it would take on a much more striking stance in a room.

I have distressed the paint to reveal some of the undertones of wood coming through to give it a more aged look. It has been sealed using clear wax.
